Jayne Bryce has more than 30 years of experience in Audiology and private hearing aid Practice. She trained in the NHS and went on to work for an American Hearing Aid Manufacturer before joining Aberdeen Hearing Services in 1998.

A multi-faceted approach, coupled with her deep desire to help hearing-impaired clients, led her to open Bryce Hearing Services.

Bryce Hearing Services is a state-of-the-art practice that offers the latest hearing aid technology and fitting procedures.

Recent studies have shown that early intervention can lead to more success with hearing aids. This is because we don’t ‘hear’ only with our ears: our ears conduct sounds to the brain which processes them. If the brain doesn’t receive adequate stimulation it can result in Auditory Deprivation which can lead to a permanent loss in the brain’s ability to process sounds and words.

People with hearing loss also tend to withdraw from social situations where they experience social isolation, even embarrassment, and in some cases this can lead to depression.

We passionately believe that early intervention is crucial and – with the advances in hearing aid technology and improved cosmetic appearance – there’s no reason to put off addressing your hearing loss.

I was so stressed because of my blocked ear. All places I called were telling me to come after days, until I called Bryce Hearing Services, got an appointment in an hour. Went there, and left within 15 minutes, Relieved and Happy!

  Went for an earwax removal this morning. I was firstly warmly welcomed into the comfortable waiting area where I also had the privilege of meeting bear the dog! It wasn’t long at all until I was seen, and the man who did the removal could not have been friendlier, more helpful or more reassuring. I was spoken through every step of the process (which in total took a maximum of ten minutes!!) and all of my questions were answered with the upmost professionalism. My wax proved slightly ‘sticky’ so water irrigation was opted for, and the relief I felt when my ears became functional again was second to none! Thank you all so much. Cannot recommend enough.

  Our 15 year old autistic son had concerns with the hearing in his right ear, and it was causing him anxiety and preventing him from concentrating on his studies. We struggled to find somewhere that would conduct a hearing test due to his age until we came across Bryce Hearing. They saw him within 24 hours, treated him with respect, clearly explained what was happening throughout and put his mind at ease. He left knowing that his hearing was fine and that the issue was likely a residual effect of a cold from a number of weeks previously. We could not have been happier with the service we received and would highly recommend Bryce Hearing to anybody who has hearing related concerns, especially for those with children or young adults who may not be served by major high street companies.

  I have recently been trialing new hearing aids and naturally there have been a few hiccups along the way, but Jayne was sp patient and professional.
