Consultant ENT Surgeon

Bill has been based at Raigmore Hospital, Inverness for the past 23 years serving patients with ear disorders throughout the Highlands and Islands of Scotland.

He also provides support to Inverness and Aberdeen Hearing Services including managing ear related problems, particular those related to hearing aid use.

He has chaired the Audiology Services Advisory Group for the Scottish Government Health Department and contributed to ENT and audiology service developments nationally.

He is an elected honorary member of ENTScotland and has served on the Councils of ENTUK and of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

His research interests include contributing to the creation of a 3D virtual reality anatomy model of the human head and neck for use in education and training of health care professionals in a range of disciplines including surgery, dentistry and allied health professionals.
